Background Information:

I have worked as an SLE, (and formerly an AST), for many years in a range of contexts.

I have enjoyed supporting schools in the development of their phonics provision and also worked with a range of settings to enhance learning provision for EYFS groups.

I have supported ITT students as a Visiting Tutor and have also provided ITT training and visits around Phonics.

I have written a guidance document to help schools to plan and assess art, which was distributed across Lincolnshire schools.

I recently became an English Hub Lead for the Witham St. Hughs Hub.

In the past I have trained as an ITT assessor.

Most current work/experience:

Phonics Hub Lead. (First audit visit completed.)

Provided a two day package of training for ITT students in phonics.

Why you wanted to become an SLE:

Helping others to develop in their skill set is very rewarding.
